How the repair works
Seven steps, one crew, a written scope before we touch a wall. This is the sequence every job follows, no exceptions.
Step 1: Inspection & moisture survey
Seven steps, no shortcuts
Follow the crew from first inspection to final walkthrough.
Inspection & moisture survey
We probe the substrate and check for trapped moisture with a calibrated meter, not a guess from the sidewalk.
- Typical duration
- 30–45 minutes, on-site
- Standard / material
- ASTM D4263 moisture screen
Written fixed-price scope
One price for materials and labor, itemized before you sign. No change orders once the crew shows up.
- Typical duration
- Delivered within 24 hours
- Standard / material
- Line-itemized against our current price book
Protection & prep
Landscaping, windows, walkways, and AC units get masked before any tool touches the wall.
- Typical duration
- 1–2 hours
- Standard / material
- 6-mil poly + tape, manufacturer prep spec
Remove failed material
We cut back to sound substrate. No shortcuts, no skim-coating over rot.
- Typical duration
- Half a day to 2 days, by scope
- Standard / material
- Cut to sound edge, ASTM C1063 substrate check
Lath, WRB & flashing correction
We fix the drainage plane first. A new coat over bad lath just fails again in a season.
- Typical duration
- 1–3 days, by scope
- Standard / material
- ASTM C1063 lath + Grade D building paper
Scratch, brown & finish coats
Three coats to spec, each cured before the next goes on. Parex and Omega finish systems, applied by hand.
- Typical duration
- 5–10 days, cure time included
- Standard / material
- ASTM C926 three-coat application
Texture match, seal & walkthrough
We match your existing texture, seal the work, and walk the job with you before we call it done.
- Typical duration
- Half a day, plus final sign-off
- Standard / material
- Manufacturer texture match + final walkthrough sign-off
